I was an MSI freak prior to buying this but I have to say I'm very pleased with the ease of setup and stabilityRunning with a 320GB sata hd, athlon 64 4000+ processor, 2 GB Kingston Hyper X Ram, a CL Audigy sound card, and a 7600 GT video card. Running Vista Ultimate, Windows XP, and Mac OSX 10.4 on this machine. Everything runs awesome and fast. No problems booting to an Sata hard drive.
Like JB said, rtfm and know what you're doing and you'll be all set. Since I'm not a gamer this computer will do it for me for quite some time. I give it a double thumbs up, 5 stars and all that good stuff. Last reviewer did not know what he was doing like 80% of people these days. These boards not only support Boot to Sata just fine but if you run a PATA Drive you can set it to Boot to either one as a Default. The F6 function is for RAID ONLY and if not set up for Raid it will not boot. Loads just fine when formating XP with only 1 file for ALL Nvidia drivers.

Using the F8 key you can boot to either of the other drives, Sata/Pata, CD, Floppy or USB drive just like I do all the time for backup purposes. Excellent BIOS with everything you need including support for Opteron & FX-60. Also has the absolute best monitor for system voltage & temps.
